On July 2, 2017, I launched this website, Jenks Fashionique!

What made me create it? Well, I lost my $40,000+ a year job in 2016, a week after getting back from my honeymoon and was forced out of another due to discrimination in February 2017. As if that wasn't bad enough, my husband, daughter and I lost everything in a house fire that following April!

Unemployed and homeless, depression set in harder than ever. Discouragement followed soon after when it seemed like NO ONE would hire me, telling me that I was "over qualified!" After much support and great advice from my father in May 2017, I realized that I had to make my own way. I had a dream one night about a vendor name that I had never heard of and the name of my new company. I googled that vendor name at 3am and sure enough it was real! That very next day, I conducted some much needed praying and researching which led to what you are viewing: Jenks Fashionique: Anyone can be BASIC, we make you SLAY!

We are for the fashion forward confident people who is live their lives defined by their passions. We strive to provide head turning high quality merchandise to those who want to look their best. We sell a selective quantity of each item and rarely restock more than once so that you will not have to worry about anyone else saying, "Jenks" (jynx) because she/he is wearing the same thing as you! We offer boutique shopping from the comfort of your own home!

Not only do I believe in providing clothing to fashion forward confident women but I want to empower women through my blog on this site called Jenks Thinks accompanied by JF Boss Slaymates, which offers assistance to female entrepreneurs! Being a woman in this world is hard and we need to stick together! My goal is to make women feel great on the inside and SLAY on the outside! I did not want to create just another fashion website. I wanted to create a MOVEMENT! I want to inspire women to stand in their power, use their gifts and still look good doing it!
